Chicken legs with potatoes

The simplest way to cook your chicken with potatoes: marinate, roast, eat happily!

Time you'll need to make this: a few hours for the marinade, 1-1,5 hour cooking time
Difficulty level: easy!

Ingredients (for 2 plates):

- 2 chicken legs
- 2 lemons
- a few potatoes (2-5, depending on size)
- a clove of garlic
- olive oil
- mustard
- salt
- oregano
- pepper
- powdered garlic
- water

How to cook it:
  1. Rinse the chicken legs with water. Put in a pan or a deep plate, and add olive oil (enough to go all over the chicken), powdered garlic, pepper, salt, oregano.
  2. Squeeze a lemon and add the juice to the chicken mix.
  3. Add a tablespoon of mustard to the chicken mix.
  4. Massage the chicken legs so that all ingredients are mixed well, and leave aside in the fridge for at least one hour (the marinade can even stay overnight).
  5. Peel, wash and chop the potatoes to medium pieces.
  6. Apply the same mixture of olive oil, mustard, salt, pepper, oregano and powdered garlic to them.
  7. Chop the clove of garlic in small pieces and add it to the potatoes.
  8. Stir everything.
  9. Lay the chicken legs and the potatoes in a cooking pan, together with their marinade. Add and mix another spoon of mustard.
  10. Add olive oil to cover the bottom, then add water to almost fully cover the potatoes. Shake the pan softly to mix the water and the other ingredients.
  11. Roast in the oven at 160 degrees for 1,5 hour. Turn the chicken two times on each side during cooking, so that it roasts well.
  12. The chicken is done when it's crispy outside and white inside. The potatoes may need a bit longer afterwards, until they are soft. Test with a fork.
  13. Serve warm! Goes excellently with white wine.
