Here's a very easy minced meat sauce recipe that goes well with pasta, but that can also be used for pies, fried eggs or other meals where you want to add minced meat!
Time you'll need to make this: 30 minutes
Difficulty level: easy!
Ingredients (for 2 plates):
- pasta
- 300gr of veal minced meat
- 1 tomato
- 1 carton of tomato sauce
- 1 clove of garlic
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- oregano
- allspice
- a bit of red wine
- water
How to cook it:
- Fill a cooking pot with water, add salt, a bit of olive oil, oregano and pepper. Let it reach boiling point.
- Throw in the pasta, stir well, and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, chop the garlic and tomato in small pieces.
- Heat up a bit of olive oil (enough to merely cover the bottom of the frying pan), and throw in the garlic and the minced meat.
- Season with salt, pepper and oregano.
- Stir well until the minced meat is turned light brown from the initial red color.
- Add chopped tomatoes, and cook well while stirring, until they're soft and they've had all their juice out in the pan.
- Lower the heat on the frying pan, and pour in the wine.
- Add 2/3 of a carton of tomato sauce, and 3-5 pieces of allspice. Stir well and let it cook for 10 minutes in low heat.
- Remove the pasta from the heat, and do not rinse!!! Instead, drain it and leave it as is.
- Your minced meat sauce should be ready and done, so let it rest for another 5 minutes.
- Add to your pasta.
- Do a little dance, pour a little red wine in a glass, and enjoy your meal! :)
