Swedish Cinnamon buns






For all cinnamon lovers delicious traditional Swedish buns.
Very easy to make.

Perfect for busy mom's to keep their kids attention in the kitchen :)

Preparation time: 40 min 
+ bake time 15 min

Ingredients for 25-30 buns:


  • Dough:
  • 35 g yeast
  • 100 g  sugar
  • 300 ml  milk
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g  butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs ground cardemom
  • 750 g  flour

  • Filling:
  • 75-100 g butter
  • 50 g  sugar
  • 3-4 tbs cinnamon
  • Glaze:
  • 1 egg
  • pearl sugar (optional)
Preparation:
  • In a small bowl, crumble the yeast with few spoons of milk, add just a pinch of sugar and flour and leave it for a few minutes till you prepare the rest.
  • Melt the butter, put it in a large bowl, add sugar, milk, yeast, salt, egg, cardemom and flour. Then kneed the dough for a few minutes then leave it 30 minutes till dough rise double.
  • Put the dough on a working surface, kneed a lil bit if you feel that is needed. Cut the dough on 2-3 peaces. Roll out each for a 3-5 mm tick. Spread the butter on the top. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon then roll the dough the long way and cut it on small pieces like 5-7 cm long buns. Place each bun in the muffin baskets then place in the pan. 
  • Beat the egg and brush each bun with it. Sparkle pearl sugar on the top.
  • Leave it to rise in a size till your oven rise the temperature of 200 C degrees.
Bake it for a 15-20 min.

Tradicionalne svedske rolnice sa cimetom

Potrebno je za oko 25-30 rolnica:

*pola kockice kvasca 35g
*100 grama secera
*300 ml mleka
*1 jaje
*120 g buttera
*1 kasicica soli
*1 kasicica mlevenog kardamona
*750 gr brasna

Za pemaz potreban vam je buter, secer i cimet.
A za glazuru umuceno jaje i ''icy sugar''. Lepo izgleda na rolnicama ako ga nadjete u prodavnici obavezno kupite.

Priprema:
Kvasac izmrviti u manjoj ciniji, dodati malo mlake vode,secera i mrvicu brasna i ostaviti po strani dok ne spremite ostalo. Otopiti buter (najbolje u mikrotalsanoj pecnici) sipati ga u veliku posudu za mesenje, dodati secer, mleko, otopljen kvasac, so, kardamon, jaje i brasno i lepo sve umesiti dok se svi sastojci ne sjedine. Ostaviti da naraste 30 minuta.
Naraslo testo izruciti na radnu povrsinu. Podeliti na 2 ili 3 dela ili kako vam je lakse. Posuti malo brasna i rastanjiti svaki deo na oko pola centimetra debljine. Testo je glatko i ne lepi se. Potrebno je samo malo brasna posuti po povrsini i po oklagiji.
Rastanjeno testo premazati buterom, posuti secerom i cimetom, ravnomerno, uviti u rolnu i seci nozem na sirinu koja vam odgovara ili 5-7 cm. Redjati rolnice u papirne korpice za mafine ili jednostavno na tepsiju oblozenu papirom za pecenje. Premazati rolnice umucenim jajetom, posuti po zelji secerom za dekoraciju (icy sugar) i ostaviti ih na toplom da narastu jos malo dok vam se rerna zagreje na 200 stepeni. Peci ih 15-20 minuta.
