Coffee break!
Anyway, for the production of a good frappe, you will need :
And what's the easiest coffee you can make? Frappe of course...
So here are the steps you need to take in order to make a good frappe.
You need to have the materials described below.
Mixing water & coffee grains with a spoon is not a certified frappe making technique - it's a sloppy way and used only on ships.
Anyway, for the production of a good frappe, you will need :
- Nescafe coffee
- Handmixer or shaker
- Sugar
- Ice cubes
- Straw
- a clean tall glass
- Safety glasses @_@
- Using a chemistry tube, pour 15 or 20 ml of water in the glass.
The dose of water is crucial, since too much water will cause a foam overgrowth. You want to drink coffee, not eat foam... - Add coffee and sugar. If you don't like your coffee very sweet, a ratio of 1:1 teaspoons will make your coffee medium.
- Put on your safety glasses. It's time to use the hardware!
Plug in the handmixer to the power supply, and insert it in the mixture. Now mix!
Keep mixing until the ingredients are made into thick, smooth foam.
Caution: if you mix too long, the foam will become sticky like cement and won't drop even if you turn the glass upside down. - Add 3-4 ice cubes and the straw in the glass.
- Slowly pour ice cold water while you stir with the straw. This will help your foam to rise up without ruining it.
- One step before the finale, you can add milk if you like.
- This is the final and most important step, in order to really enjoy your frappe experience.
Sit back on a chair, put your feet on a table/chair and use the straw to stir your coffee. Every 5min take a small zip.
If you finish drinking your coffee in less than 2 hours, you're doing it wrong...
* In case you have a shaker instead of a handmixer, skip steps 1,2,3.
Add a bit more water in the shaker, and one or two ice cubes along with the sugar and the coffee.
The ice cubes will help with the mixing.
