Red saucy shrimps

This is my first time trying to cook shrimps, and I tried them with an easy red sauce, and rice and pita bread as sides. :)

Time you'll need to make this: 30-40 minutes
Difficulty level: easy!

Ingredients (for 2 plates):

- 500gr of cleaned shrimps (you can buy these at the frozen products - they must be peeled and "deveined", or you can do it at home)
- a glass of whole grain rice
- pita bread
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- mustard
- tomato sauce
- salt
- black pepper
- paprika
- oregano
- a broth cube (preferably veggie)
- butter
- olive oil
- 2 shots of white wine

How to cook it:
  1. Let the shrimps defrost overnight in the fridge.
  2. In a cooking pot, add water, a broth cube, a bit of oregano and a teaspoon of butter. Let it boil, then throw in the rice, stir and let it cook (approx. 10 minutes). Drain when ready.
  3. Meanwhile, wash your shrimps and remove any dirt.
  4. Grind your garlic and chop the tomatoes in small pieces.
  5. In a big frying pan, place olive oil (about 5 spoons) on medium heat, and add the garlic and the tomatoes. Add salt and a bit of oregano and let it all fry for 5 minutes or so.
  6. Add the one shot of wine and half a carton of tomato sauce. Add salt to taste ( I needed 1-2 teaspoons, depends on what you like), and a lot of pepper and paprika. Stir everything well and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Drink that other shot of wine :P
  8. Add 1 spoon of mustard in the sauce mix and stir everything very well. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Add in your shrimps and stir around so that the sauce goes all over them. Let them cook until soft (not more than 5-10 minutes on medium heat).
  10. Cut your pita bread in nice triangles or whatever shape you like :D Add your rice and your shrimps to the plate, and dig in the deliciousness that you have just created :P
  11. Don't forget to dip your pita bread in the sauce, this is the purpose it serves!
