Spicy fried chicken

This is a quick and tasty recipe with chicken and veggies. You can add veggies according to your taste, and not use as many spices if you wish to make this milder!

Time you'll need to make this: 30 minutes
Difficulty level: easy!


Ingredients (for 2 plates):

-6 chicken leg fillets
- olive oil
- 1-2 tomatoes
- 1-2 green peppers
- 1 lemon
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
- chili powder
- oregano
- a sip of wine



How to cook it:
  1. Chop your chicken in small pieces, and marinate it for at least an hour in lemon juice, olive oil, oregano and salt.
  2. Chop your garlic, tomatoes and peppers in small pieces. You can add yellow, red and chili peppers as well.
  3. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan. Drain the chicken off the marinade, and throw in the frying pan. Let it fry and remove any extra juices coming off (might need to do this 2-3 times). 
  4. After you have removed most of the juices, add some more olive oil, and spice it up with pepper, paprika and chili powder. Fry until they start getting a nice light brown color.
  5. Throw in the veggies, and stir around for 5 minutes, until the veggies start becoming a bit soft and giving off a nice smell :)
  6. Add a sip of wine and remove from heater.
  7. Serve without draining the oil, with rice or baked potatoes, or just a salad. Dipping the bread in the oil is highly recommended!
